Showcase your talent at our Dance Shows
In June 2022 dancers from DSA had the honour of being chosen to represent England at the Dance World Cup in Sans Sebastian, Spain.
The 15 strong Street Team danced at the Kursal Theatre, winning points for Team England by placing 4th in the world!
At Dance Steps Academy we teach and encourage our students to participate in Dance Shows and Events. We hold our full-scale Show at the Gordon Craig Theatre once every 2 years and give our students plenty of opportunities to be creative in our annual Choreography Competition.
Competition Teams
At Dance Steps Academy we currently run 3 Competition Teams, Junior, Inter & Senior. Talented pupils are selected and invited to join the appropriate team to further their dance training. We compete regularly at Festivals and Competitions throughout the year including
All-England Dance Festivals, where in our first year of Competing we reached the National Final at Hackney Empire.
Our Street Competition team regularly competes and won the cash prize at Born 2 Perform in November 2021.
Her Majesty’s Theatre in London
We take pride in having been invited to some of the most amazing dance events over the years. We are also proud of our repeated appearances at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London. After performing at this prestigious event in October 2012, our students received a wonderful reception after performing several numbers. We were also invited in July 2013 and 2015 to perform at this prestigious venue. You can have a look at some of our amazing performances on our gallery page.
