Dance Steps Academy has been established in Letchworth for 33 years. We offer classes in a variety of styles such as Street dance, Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary and Flexibility training.
Friday Street dance classes
At DSA we offer Street dance from the age of 5 years with 5 classes of varying age and ability. Students will learn the different styles including popping, locking, hip hop…..
Selected dancers have the opportunity to perform under our crew name of Deleg8 and compete at various events throughout the year.
We have been selected for 5 consecutive years to represent England at the Dance World Cup and have recently performed at the Super Convention CYD in Liverpool 2025.
Street Competition and Classes
Rachel Saunders runs 4 Street classes on a Friday evening which allows students to partake in I.S.T.D Street Exams.
DSA have held several Street exam sessions and have a track record of every student receiving the top mark of HONOURS.
Molly Johnson runs and choreographs the Street Competition team who are currently ranked 4th in the World!
Our Inter and Senior Teams compete at various events throughout the year. In May 2023 our Inter team won 1st place at the East Anglia UK Street Dance Championships.
Our Senior Team has once gain been selected to represent team England at the Dance World Cup which is an amazing achievement.
